Our Preseason ep is also the launch of our Gofundme to help raise funds to make Public Service financially sustainable for Season 5. Proceeds go towards helping us cover @karlalamusic ’s soundsystem expenses including labor, repairs & maintenance as well as the cost of the permits required to legally put each Service together. Entry is free w/RSVP before 5pm then $10 the rest of the day/evening. We’ll also have Public Service long sleeve T’s on hand for sale with profits also going towards our Gofundme as well. Family!!!    2 Sundays ago at Von King Park was sooo special. We thank you so so much for being an essential part of such a genuine display of love & unity. In light of all of the fuckery currently enveloping this country & most of the world at present, gatherings such as these are one of the few places left on Earth, much less NYC, where we can all sincerely take part in something that, for at least an hour or 2, helps us mutually forget some of ours & the world’s troubles. We are lucky to be able to feel these feelings together and we couldn’t be more grateful & indebted to each & every one of you sharing your time, space & energy with us.    We hope to see all of you at the next Public Service, going down Sunday, July 13th at Maria Hernandez Park in Bushwick. As always Toribio & Mickey Pérez on the controls powered by Karlala Soundsystem.    Speaking of Karlala Soundsystem, he had some unexpected damages befall his soundsystem over the past month & as a result, we’ve had to increase the goal of our Gofundme that came with these damages. THIS IS A PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT:: our annual pre-season Public Service will be goin down, SUNDAY APRIL 13th from 4-10pm @elpuentepresente in South Williamsburg!!! Iykyk but for those who don’t, @elpuentepresente is a beautiful Brooklyn & Puerto Rican based community center/human rights institution founded in 1982 that’s been serving the communities of South Williamsburg & Bushwick in Brooklyn as well as Rio Piedras in Puerto Rico & we couldn’t be more excited to be collaborating with them to make April 13th possible. This event is all ages and free to the public but we’re asking for a $20 suggested donation to help us fund this summer’s Public Services. Any amount you can donate helps us immensely. As always @toribious_monk & @djmickeyperez on the controls powered by the one & only @karlalamusic . We’ll also have prints for sale by our fave @mariofc55 as well. So gladdd to be back together again ! We reunite for the pre season warm up @gabriela90.nyc this Sunday April 14th!
