I can’t imagine what my life would look like if I hadn’t met you five years ago. It was such a strange world, and I’m so glad I swiped right. I’m glad we started dating over zoom, and I’m glad you fell asleep on my couch after risking it all to finally meet in person. I’m glad you are so patient and kind, and I’m glad you love walking on my back. I’m glad you want a life with me, and I’m SO glad you love me too. Happy one-year anniversary— Let’s keep doing this.

WE DID IT! We have officially opened the doors @bigcat.brookside , and we couldn’t be more excited to host the neighborhood and watch this space evolve. We’re starting with dinner service Wed-Sat from 5pm-9:30pm, and the Market should be open by the end of next month (maybe sooner). We are pretty booked up at the moment, but feel free to call or drop in and see if we have tables available on the patio or seats at the bar. We were incredibly honored to be recognized and awarded a Bib Gourmand by MICHELIN at last night's @michelinguide American South 2025. This was quite literally a dream come true, and to have achieved such a distinction less than six months into our journey is unbelievable. Congrats to our hardworking team and all the other restaurants that were recommended, and cheers to what the future holds. šŸ™

It’s been two years since we got hitched, and I’m not sure I would have made it without you. Thank you for all the long talks and head rubs and dinners you’ve cooked and left in the fridge. Thank you for being there when we lost Wil and for supporting Franky in her transition into middle school. Thank you for your silly songs about Sully and for making us tens of dollars in the stock market.
