TONIGHT 🪐✨ enter the freakzone with me on @bbc6music at midnight My theme is SPACE MUSIC. Not the generally accepted description of the genre, but instead my take on what ‘space music’ means to me. These are some of my favourite tunes in the world from the not-so-distant past, bookended by tracks I’ve made inspired by these artists. It’s a joy to be able to play their tracks in full on the radio! This mix is made up of electronic and instrumental music that connects me to the drum of the earth while keeping one eye on the movement of the stars. Music made from what I think of as ‘orbits’, trance-inducing repeating sequences that seem to move in circles. Music recorded in giant spaces; music made using effects that conjure giant spaces; music about our rights to take up space in this world, and music about traces of energy left behind by long-lost stars. 🚀 Oktober bo vibriral na frekvenci prihodnosti! 🚀 Clockwork Voltage Roaming Festival se odklaplja iz rutine in priklaplja na klubske prostore po vsej Sloveniji. En mesec, ena potujoča električna karavana zvoka – od surovega techna do filmskih zvočnih pokrajin, od glitch eksplozij do popolne improvizacije. To ni še en festival. To je roaming – vsaka postaja nova zgodba, vsak oder drugačna dimenzija. Modularni sintetizatorji oživijo kot bitja iz prihodnosti, stroji prevzamejo besedo in glasba postane ritual, ki ga doživiš samo enkrat. Štartamo 1. oktobra v Kinu Šiška, kjer gostimo prijatelje iz italjanske skupnosti Bologna Modulare. 3.oktobra sledi clubbing v ljubljanskem Channel Zeru, kjer festival odpre vrata z nočjo klubskega ognja. V osmo-zi bo 4.oktobra potekala delavnica Modul@rnice , ki bo gostovala tudi v Kopru, Škofji loki in Mariboru. Val zvoka se nato razlije proti morju - 10. oktobra v koprski Bastion, nadaljujemo pa 11. oktobra v velenjskem eMCe-ju. 18. oktobra zavzamemo Akc Nama v Škofji Loki ter festival Novi val v Kamniku in konec meseca, 24. oktobra, zaključimo v sodelovanju z mariborskim kolektivom Vakum.
