It’s always hard to find the right words for these kind of posts without making everything sound revolved around me, but I have too much joy and contentment to not give a proper appreciation for Sunday nights closing. Closing Berghain is always the most important date of the year for me. It’s the opportunity to express myself as truthfully as possible and show my full respect for that room. Without meaning to sound cliche, everything clicked last Sunday and it was one of the most special experiences I’ve had in that room to date. I’ve had so many magical moments attending closings there over the years and to have the chance to shape my own versions of those journeys each year is still a dream and I will always hold these nights as the highlights of my artistic career. Thank you to everyone who stayed with me until the end and brought such an energy and a special thanks to @pareka.binaer for the incredible light performance. The lights are such an integral part of the experience and he really helped create the magic in that room on Sunday. Till the next one ❤️

Moving Pressure 06 is here, welcoming Berlin based DHÆÜR. Funny story behind this one. While listening to DVS1 play last year, I recorded a moment on my phone, a track that filled the room with this deep, immersive power. I ended up making my own version from that recording to play in my sets. Fast forward to Berlin, I’m with DHÆÜR and play him the track, asking if he knows it.. Of course, it was his unreleased, which is now the B1 of the EP ‘602’. That’s when i knew I needed this record for Moving Pressure. It captured exactly what the label stands for and that moment on the dancefloor made it undeniable. ‘The concept behind the EP reflects the principles of the label - namely, the pressure of sound and its resulting movement, where minimalism meets maximum technical intention.’ Vinyl pre-orders available on our Bandcamp!
