Jonathan Castro Alejos (Lima, PE) is a Rotterdam-based artist working across sound, video, installation, and performance, known also for the creation of the Dekmantel identity. His work allows different textures to merge into new visual and sonic forms. Alongside this, he performs as a vinyl-focused DJ, moving through experimental electronics, ambient, broken rhythms and tropical traces—from slowed cumbia and chicha to the more obscure cuts and overlooked B-sides (we love those!)
