I just wanted to say a huge thank you to all of the 16,559 people that visited ‘Under Neon Loneliness’ over three weeks. Mind blowing numbers! 🤯🙏🏻 The response has been so positive. Meeting people and hearing their reactions was such a great experience. It’s also good to see how important public art can be and how it affects people in a positive way. And huge thank you to everyone who helped make it happen. Here me… Unable report on current projects and plans so here’s a couple of pictures of me… Realised recently that not many people know what I look like as I rarely post my face. So that’s what we’ve been up to for the last few weeks… Designing and curating the Super Furry Supamarket pop-up and exhibition. A selection of artwork and props along with some exclusive merchandise. On display were a lot of Pete Fowler’s work for the band from ‘Radiator’ onwards, some my work for the band, alongside some of the collaborations Pete and myself have worked on over the years. A full on few days, but worth it. Such a great turn out and atmosphere. Thanks to all who made the effort to queue up for over an hour to get in. Thanks to Paul and his team for all their hard work setting things up and running the shop. A huge thanks to all at St David’s Centre that helped and supported us throughout. From the preview of ‘NIGO: From Japan with Love’ at the Design Museum, London. The first-ever museum retrospective and exhibition outside of Japan that chart’s the career and life of the Japanese creative director, NIGO. 700 artefacts with the majority from NIGO’s personal archive. Some incredible items that bring back so many memories from nearly 30 years of following his creative career. A true inspiration. I need to do a deep dive into my own personal collection, so many items in this show that I’ve picked up over the years. Opening on 1 May. @designmuseum @nigo

This is ‘I Love EU’ by Gruff Rhys. A stand alone single released 10 years ago today. A love letter to the EU, what we have in common and how we’re better, stronger together. Written in response to the looming 2016 referendum on whether the UK should remain or leave the EU. And we know how that worked out… @gruffingtonpost @robinturner

‘CULTURE CLASH’ PRINT COLLECTION NOW ADDED TO *SUBJECT TO CHANGE© .ORG Available for the first time outside of Japan. ’Culture Clash’ is a series of work inspired by numerous visits to Japan over the last 25 years. Taking Japanese cultural icons, characters and mascots, reworking them into a unique style. The show, ‘Culture Clash’, was held at RFW Showroom in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo in 2022.
