A heartfelt ode to all who graced our gathering at @defikgarden , once again, the air hummed with magic and every smile was a spell cast in light.
Fifth Motion soared beyond our creative imagination. Our resident DJs @jonnywednesday@sagiwig and @kidphantastic wove the night’s first threads, @___herve held us captive in the rhythm’s embrace, and @courtesy707 closed with a set that felt like a masterpiece painted in sound. The space itself bloomed anew under @naomirechtman ‘s mesmerizing visuals and @mat.cabernet ‘s laser artistry, transforming the space into a living, breathing sanctuary of light and texture.
Endless thanks to every dancer for the energy that pulsed through the room, and to all the volunteers for the hands that made it all possible.

Since the first enchanted gathering that marked our origins, @___herve has been a familiar recurrence and an exceptional supporter of our endeavours. As a close friend and long-time collaborator, his presence has also shaped many memories, sometimes through the sonic spells of @noord_loop , and as a force of his own making. Coming off prestigious appearances at Lente Kabinet and Draaimolen, he carries the reminiscence of forest raves through festivals and clubs.
Guided by curiosity and a deep connection to music, his selections move with progressive measure, intertwined with psychedelic textures and subtle melodic detail. Drawing from a wider field beyond the dancefloor, his sets carry a sense of openness and wonder.
His imprint continues to run through the fabric of the scene through the @polychrome_audio record label and the @noordspace community playground, bringing consistency to the creative exchange in Amsterdam and across distant music realities.

Before getting to Taiwan, and during a time of pre-travel research, I came across a fellow redditor who literallly told me : « Taiwan underground is in a golden era right now, so much fun, so many good events, the cops are nice »
Wow! In current times and because of various contexts, it is extremely rare to hear anyone making such a claim about their home town or country. But guess what, this was true !! I am extremely grateful to have experienced this scene with the likes @formosa_sound_system , @toha.radio , and a space like @r_rabbithole_h which are all absolute gems. Every time with sounds that deeply, deeply resonated within me.
That night, by a temple lost in the outskirts of Taipei on the Tiger Mountain, those elements collided with a very special and dedicated crowd.

Taipei’s daylight aesthetics were hitting so hard, that despite my distance towards street photography I could not resist constantly shooting and shooting.
The tiles on the buildings, the omnipresent chrome, the blossoms, and just a constant attention for details in how that city was built.

Brought some goofy RED film with me in Taiwan, which ended up pretty damaged (airports x rays?) but still delivered some beautiful memories. Will share more on this extra special trip when I’ll get access to my digital files - who knows when ? 🇹🇼💘
I discovered @_annahering through the colors of her Orgy-Porgy and Utopia painting series, and she quickly became a strong inspiration for how to play with colours, which I take away in my own photography.
So, when she asked me to join at the @academievanbouwkunst to capture the presentation of Matrix, her graduation project, I was very much looking forward to it and felt very grateful. It was also the occasion to learn more about how her creative mind works and damn this was truly passionating.

Celebrating 32 rotations around the sun and at the same time the firehorse year 🧧🔥🐎 on the other side of the world with mon amour @isabelwiltenborough , five spiced delicacies and amazing soy breakfasts, a dub soundsystem, proper oolong teas in all forms and like always even a cat or two.
Grateful for what life can give, we never forget when it takes 🙏♥️
