@kariton.au sorbetes/ice cream 🍦SOPT LAUNCH, OPEN OPISHALLY HALIKA NA KAIBIGANS!
📌173 Burwood Rd, Burwood (4 min walk from the station)
Friends keep asking me my reccos:
🍨MY FAVE SCOOPS🍨
✨OBVS CLASSICS: Ube halaya, leche flan (feat. CHUNKS of leche flan), calamansi sorbet (devo I didn't get this, all my Melb friends won't shut up about it. Properly sour)
🧀 Queso - Firstly, where else can you get a scoop of fancy queso (cheese) ice cream? This flav is as normal as vanilla/strawb/choc in the Phils. We're salty sweet pros this includes skyflakes (saltine crackers) and white choc!
🔥Who's Jicha - THIS HAS $20+ HANDCRAFTED CHOC IN IT PEOPLE! Roasty toasty, creamy. Hojicha cheesecake w/
@mamecocoa_official hojicha nama (local Filo version of Japanese Royce nama ganache choc) from chep
@santiago_cuyugan .
🤌🏽HANDHELDS (pic 5 - maybe stash a bunch in the freezer?)
- Sylvie - based on a silvana. Perfect to share or if you're less of a mix ins and toppings freak.
- Yemabon - based on yema candy. With a salted egg biscuit and miso caramel. Salty sweet bliss. For all the Asians who have not bat an eyelid at any of this combo 🫡
🔪Kitchen BTS (Slide 3). Ube + blackberry jam Process and churn. Thank you
@mike_m_builds , sorry kuya Carlos for filming you on your first day. Masterchep already, love your work, you're doing so well!🥲
🙏🏼Thank you

🏮Burwood Chinatown - During dinner at in the food court we stumbled upon a video Marzi had produced with
@abc_arts for
@4a_aus (last pic). Even through the sorbetes and hainanese chicken rice coma it was nice to see EVEN MORE Filipinos in Burwood with our friend
@katgothertongue (currently livin' large at her Lola's in Pampanga) in the video alongside Marzi. Filipinos really are taking over Burwood 🫨🥲 😭💃🏼💖
P.S. The navy blue duster dress I'm wearing was handsewn by my Nanay Nina. Maraming salamat po🙏🏼
EDIT: My dodge Taglish caused me to be followed by a few Tagalog teaching accounts. 🫣🤣
