This Saturday we’re touching down on Gundungurra and Dharug Country in Katoomba 4 @mtnszineclub ✏️
Will have the full catalogue available on a half table, sharing with @olliexreyes - we had a pact this year to try to go to as many zine fairs as possible and this is both our first time going to the Blue Mountains.

We are bringing the largest amount of stock we have ever carted to a fair, including:
- (IM)PERFECT TRANSLATION, why we need everyday speaker’s translations.
- Take Away Truth-Telling, a pocket dictionary and activity book building off our poster resources in three phrases and five languages.
- Mystery 🆕 zine, can you peep the draft? Dropping in a new colourway, Strange Folds attendees get to see it first 👀

We’re ready to talk all things zines, design, and intersectionality! 💛 Come down and say hi to the team: Phoebe McIlwraith (@northbutsouthhh ), who’ll be handling everything SPEAKINGTRUTH, and Oliver Reyes (@olliexreyes ), who’ll be sharing the table with his own queer zines. 👋

This open workshop is hosted by Phoebe McIlwraith (@northbutsouthhh ), Speaking Truth @speakingtruthau (a multilingual truth-telling project based in ‘Sydney’) and the Australian Youth Climate Coalition.

Phoebe McIlwraith is a Bundjalung and Worimi Saltwater dubay/galbaan (woman) from coastal NSW.
She is a multi-disciplinary Koori news and current affairs journalist with a background in political economy at the University of Newcastle. Her work as a producer, writer and reporter have been published by SBS, NITV, Guardian Australia, VICE, Refinery29, Pedestrian.TV, IndigenousX, and Common Ground First Nations.
