Be Seen is a new photographic project that celebrates the diversity and lived experiences of LGBTQIA+ people connected to the North Sydney Council LGA and we're calling for participants 💫🌈
Led by artists @annahayhayhay and @sophie_willison_ , you'll be invited to have your portrait taken at a location of personal significance, whether that be your home, a street or other site meaningful to your queer experience. Alongside each portrait, a short audio reflection will be recorded, capturing your connection to that place.
Together, these portraits and narratives will form a living archive of queer life in North Sydney, exploring identity, memory and connection to place.
The final works will be presented at the North Sydney Council Pride Picnic on Sunday 14 June 2026.
Find out more and register your interest via the short EOI form at the link in our bio before 27 April.
