Grateful to have worked on Poker Face Season 2, Episode 1 with the incredible Cynthia Erivo—who played not five, but six characters in this wild ride of an episode.
I got the call the night before to step in as a backup fill in. I wasn’t given access to the mood board in advance, had no prep time, and no assistant. The shoot stretched over two weeks, across multiple locations (some hours apart), and I had other jobs—including a wedding—booked in between.
While I wasn’t involved in the creative direction, I was proud to help bring the vision to life under intense circumstances. The hours were long, the work nonstop, and it was far from glamorous. But I’m thankful to have played a part and have deep respect for everyone behind the scenes who makes the magic happen. 🎥 ✨
*Special shoutout to the makeup department, and to
@heidipakdel for helping however she could and for the daily check-ins. So lucky to have finally worked with you!*
