Throw back to Ticino 🇨🇭 in December. Deep into winter training right now, missing the sun and also hoping for dry weather, training so far has consisted of working around small injuries that have given me the chance to work on a lot of my weaknesses. South Korea Seoul - World Championships P5. Some of my best climbing this season on some amazing routes set by @yoris_delahaye_ and @carlieclimbs , my performances were not enough to make finals this time round but a lot of positives and lessons learnt and I will slowly get ready for next season after some off season rest and some time on the rock. Thank you to @loewinn for the help in preparing for the competition and being there for me and it was also amazing experiencing everything together, from exploring new places, eating new food and also our daily decaf evening strolls around the city too 🩵🦋 Special mentions to @billyridal for his help and guidance, we have been working together for a year and a half or so and we aren’t finished yet! A week full of climbing: a day squeezed in at the Orme before going up north for a trip to the Yorkshire Peaks and and then a day at Devils Gorge, a week full of stunning views, a lot of laughter, goated snacks, chippy tea, big ass spiders, roads taken over by cows and sheep and one crazy Collie dog. And a lot of climbing and making memories with @loewinn 🩵🦋 I managed to climb my first 7b+ (photos 1-4) which didn’t feel my limit at all and I am excited to try harder lines and project harder routes and unlock more in my climbing! Innsbruck World Cup - P6 A much more competitive field compared to Salt Lake City and making finals was a big achievement in itself competing against 18 other strong athletes. I have more work to do to refine my small mistakes. As @suz_upgrade_climbing said to me once I unlock these small things a lot will improve in my climbing and the progress will be huge. SLC 2025 🇺🇸 Great qualifiers 🦾, really bad finals🫠 and amazing memories! 🦋🩵 Went into finals with my best performances so far with a top and then 5 holds off the 2nd route and slipped early in the finals finishing in 6th place. Lessons learnt and eager to put things right for the rest of the season. Innsbruck World Cup next, a chance to put on better performances and then train and climb outside before World Champs. 🦾 Well done to @seb_paraclimbing and @ivonlawerenz on their medals!
