A new concept for Disco Isn’t Dead, we’ll be taking over Strange Brew’s backroom next week to offer you a fresh low sensory space to relax and recharge. We’re bringing a bloody big box of decor, some sexy mood lighting and a kings ransoms worth of incense to make sure you’ve got a space to reup, rehydrate and rejuvenate.
Soundtracking the backroom will be a pair of trusted Bristol stalwarts behind the decks. 🫡
iLL Maurice, Void radio head honcho and maybe the nicest man in Bristol, this DJ’s been working hard holding up the Bristol underground. A man wholeheartedly dedicated to empowering community through music and someone we couldn’t be happier to be welcoming for a disco isn’t dead debut. Expect everything from slick Chicago, dusty laid back breaks and subterranean deep house.
DJ Hans, a Paradisco mainstay and at this point family member. DJ Hans slides his way through Bristol’s underground dance scene, making suprise appearances on dance floors least expected. Famously once delivering a legendary 7 hour afterparty set for a certain Paradisco Birthday party, if Hans has one thing, it’s sick tunes. When the concept of the backroom was born there was one name we knew we wanted playing and we know that the backroom sound track could not be in safer “Hans”. Expect the unexpected, but be delighted with the surprise.
Remember to take breaks and enjoy the space respectfully, we’re going all the way to 4am with this one 😈

Been asked by the goodly brewers down at @newbristolbrewery to organise a marketplace day at their taproom in St Paul’s on the 6th May next month. So this is your warning to put it in your diary NOW or suffer the wrath of some ruthless promotional techniques (me, asking u to come hang out and drink beer)
There’s gonna be food, djs, records, art, vintage clothing, collectibles, nick nacks, and other spring related wares for house, home and homies
The idea is to curate a mix of stalls from local and independent sellers all based in Bristol that all work ✨☯️harmoniously☯️✨together. Also should be lots of bits n pops that can help that spring-summer transition moment - house music, shorts, homemade tinctures, optimistic art, that kinda thing. Also beers, probably too many, including the secret ones they don’t tell you about. Like a 9% raspberry pale ale for 3£ that reminds you of your childhood while edging you ever closer to a premature dancefloor
