This week we luckily managed to pick up another absolutely stunning dance collection! Around 1,500 titles which have been lovingly selected over years of collecting by a local DJ until they hung up their headphones. A wide spread of sounds covering all corners of dance music from the past 30 years, with a real emphasis on UK sounds and labels, with tons of Tech House, Garage, Grime, House & Techno plus many bits from across the globe.
We will be getting the first load of titles in the racks from today, with new items hitting the shelves daily for the next few weeks!

Last week we luckily got our hands on a collection of incredible disco gems from Thailand. A wide spread of off-centre dancefloor oddities touching on all things ’80s, from DIY cosmic gems to proto-Italo and all things synth-heavy. Over the weekend we picked up one of the best dance collections I think we’ve ever come across, a local DJ’s collection of 1100 records that they’ve been carefully curating over the last 20 years, full to the brim with 90’s & early 2000’s gems touching on everything from Prog, Tech House, US Dance classics, Trance, Techno, House, Downtempo +++
Super excited to get this collection out and in the racks with the first load of items hitting the racks today!
TONIGHT - XIAOLIN - DISK FRISK
Hailing from Hong Kong, Xiaolin’s musical output knows no bounds. A true artist, she moves between three distinct live sets — Sun, Moon & Body — each shaped for a different energy and environment, alongside a decade of studying classical violin. She really can do it all. Those influences and curiosities spill over into her DJ sets, where she’s become known for building tension and atmosphere with razor-sharp precision, weaving through psychedelic prog, hypnotic techno, and tripped-out electro.
Rising local DJ R.E.D joins us for her first outing since joining the Shop crew. Known for trippy, mind-bending club sets, she’s a true music lover with no limits to her taste — it’s never easy to guess where she’ll take things next. Rounding off the bill is shop owner Morey Cillar.
This Saturday, we’re super lucky to be joined by @oliviaxiaolin for her first time playing in the city. Having briefly lived here during her formative years, she developed an obsession with the city’s bass-heavy dance music—something that she now hones into one of her many musical crafts.
A truly unique artist playing by her own rules. Following music curiosity first, she’s an insanely sharp DJ, quickly getting recognised their craft, holding a residency at the notorious 宀 Mihn Club, where she hosts her party HEX.
Alongside DJing, she tours three distinct live sets: “Sun” for sunrise settings, “Moon” for meditative spaces, and “Body” for nightclub environments, here she showcases her concert-level violin skills, alongside with a vast range of other musical talents. Recently leading live a collab with the legendary Kuniyuki Takahashi. At her core, she an artist whose practice revolves around moving listeners with intention whether or not that be with meditative live performances or head banging DJ sets.
