Ring in 2025 with a three-hour flex from a hero of UK club culture.
They don’t make DJs like Lukas Wigflex anymore. The Nottingham DJ and promoter has a love for UK club culture that borders on the unfathomable—and he does it all with a gusto that is unmistakably, one hundred percent pure Lukas.
Wigflex started out as a “Wigflex Wednesdays,” a free bar night in Nottingham with two-for-one pizzas to hook punters in. In the 19 years since, it has grown into one of the UK’s most established party series, welcoming dance music giants while still championing homegrown talent.
His RA Podcast is a window into what Wigflex is all about: electro in all its shades, from the Hauffian to the Drexciyan, alongside wigged-out EBM and a healthy amount of Wigflex classics. What better way to ring in the New Year?

Get To Know: @lukas_wigflex
Building a community through his Wigflex nights, reknowned for their "rudeboy techno" excursions and eye-grabbing artwork, and eventually throwing two city-wide festivals, Lukas Cole has become a bonafide Notts legend.
Beyond his hometown, the rest of the world has been made fully aware of his talents through sets in Berlin, Kiev, Tisno and an Australia tour that took place last year. A true DJ's DJ, you can catch Lukas regularly going B2B with the likes of Ben UFO, Craig Richards, Dr Banana, Willow and more.
After spending last year celebrating the 18th year of his infamous party series, Wigflex plans to spend 2025 working on his productions. Collaborations with @sonofphilip , @charliemorris_des.hagenasty plus solo projects are all being lined up for release in the near future.
You can catch Lukas Wigflex on Rinse FM every last Monday of the month at 8–10PM.

It’s been two decades since the first Wigflex club night. I wanted to pen some grand, heartfelt statement regarding 20 years of myself navigating this thing of ours and how much it means to me, but I struggled to find the right words without verging into waffle territory. I guess deeper reflection can come at the end of the year. What I will say is that all I’ve ever really wanted to do was make people happy, be it through putting on parties, or by showing them records I adore. If you’d told 14 year old Lukas that I’d fumble my way into a career in this industry, I would have been incredibly happy. There’s loads of exciting things planned round the globe for 2026 and it honestly feels like I’m only getting started.
I love you all, here’s to the next 20. X
