Here’s the next round of dates for me, taking it up to the end of July and into the heart of the summer. Festival season has arrived, with trips to Bristol, for @wherewebelongfestival this Saturday, and Steyning, Stockport, Penzance, Hertfordshire and Oxfordshire upcoming. There are also daytime events in Newcastle, London and Manchester, with a club booking in Hastings to complete the schedule. Also, on May 22nd, I’ll be dropping in at the @brightonmusicconference for their keynote interview - more details will be posted soon. It’s been an outstanding year so far, people seem to be partying harder, and I’ve already had so many memorable gigs in 2026. The four-hour mix from the recent BG in at the @thejazzcafe gathering is now online (link in bio), whilst @manchestercathedral will uploaded later this month. 16.05 Bristol @wherewebelongfestival 23.05 Hastings @theprintworkshastings 30.05 Steyning @steyningfestival 12.06 Stockport @moovinfestival 20.06 Newcastle @restorationnewcastleupontyne @fratenewcastle 27.06 Penzance @golowan_festival 11.07 London @freightbrixton 25.07 Manchester @freightislandmcr 26.07 Hertfordshire @campo_sancho 31.07 Oxfordshire @wildernesshq

We are thrilled to welcome the indefinable dub innovator to the Pool roster. Hailing from the mythical English town of Breadminster, Elijah Minnelli has been expanding the boundaries of dub through the prisms of folk, cumbia, reggae and cosmic reverberation. With a new 4 track EP ‘Socket and Ball’ coming via tastemaker label @accidentalmeetings on 6th March 2026 (see clip in slide 2). Minnelli continues to establish his unique dub-wise sound, fusing eastern & western folk influences with cumbia and earthy drones, culminating in his own distinct sonic world and ever evolving lore. In the words of @test_pressing_official , Elijah’s music could be described as “earthy, rootsy mutations on the reggae gene, owing as much to folk and Cumbia as it does to dub.” With a plethora of sought after self-released 7 inch, plus ‘Perpetual Musket’ an acclaimed 2024 album on esteemed label FatCat Records, Minnelli’s sound stands out by balancing its influences with a unique irreverence. Critically, Elijah’s 2025’s LP ‘Clams as a Main Meal’ (slide three) garnered his most glowing reviews yet, with positive nods from The Guardian and The Quietus voting ‘Canaan Land’ featuring Dennis Bovel, in their top 5 tracks of 2025. In a live context, the dub elements of Minnelli’s sound come to the fore. Stood behind his mixing desk, he strips back and rebuilds his usual blend of rickety, ragtag percussion and warmed-through subs. Layered with his trademark live vocals and folk melodies the end result is a set of wheezing melancholia that strives beyond pure sound system functionality. This unique set-up has seen him grace stages as varied as London’s Cafe OTO, Copenhagen’s Dubfabrikken, Belgium’s Meakusma and Munich’s Circus Krone, and alongside artists such as Shackleton, The Notwist and Holy Tongue. “The splicing of genres feels seamless, joyful and briskly contemporary.” The Guardian “No one sounds like Elijah Minnelli.” - Sounds of the Universe Available for Live & DJ bookings. We are thrilled to welcome @camilayeokun to The Pool Agency. Cami is a Cuban DJ, selector, and radio host who finds her most intimate expressions on the dancefloor and through the airwaves hosting 'INSOLAR', her monthly radio show on @nts_radio . Her journey is fuelled by a relentless search as a record digger and ethnomusicologist, unearthing organic rhythms from across the world. Performing exclusively on vinyl, her sonic adventure traverses textures and eras, weaving a wide tapestry that draws from Cuban disco, forward-thinking Latin electronics, Caribbean oddities, Tropical Amazonian rhythms, and global grooves. Her 'INSOLAR' radio show has blossomed into a solid event concept, now encompassing 11 editions across 8 cities. This live iteration has seen Cami channel her energy and vision into notable stages and club takeovers, including a curated presentation at Le Guess Who (Utrecht, Netherlands) and a celebrated residency at The Pickle Factory (London, UK), where she hosted dub legend Mad Professor as a special guest. Looking ahead, Cami is now expanding 'INSOLAR' into a record label (@insolar.records and is currently working on its first release. The debut release promises to be a deeply personal project which embodies Cami’s narrative-driven approach to music and which shapes all of her work. In recent years she has performed on some of the finest stages around the world, including Glastonbury (UK), Dekmantel Selectors (Croatia), Clockenflap (Hong Kong), Joyland (Indonesia), Spotify O-East (Japan), Melt Festival (Germany), Transmusicales (France), Jazz:Re:Found (Italy), Electric Castle (Romania), We Out Here (UK), KALA (Albania), North Sea Jazz (Netherlands), GALA (UK), Bahidora (Mexico), among others. Greg Wilson is a DJ of the original disco era – his first paid booking, as a mobile DJ, was on Sept 20th 1975, before his inaugural club date in December, when still 15. turning professional on leaving school in the summer of ’76. The UK then had a Labour prime minister – Greg’s namesake, Harold Wilson. The Conservatives had just changed leader - Margaret Thatcher the first woman to head a major British political party. US president Gerald Ford replaced disgraced Richard Nixon, following the Watergate scandal, and the fall of Saigon brought the Vietnam War to an end. In football, Derby County were reigning champions and West Ham United, in an all-London FA Cup final, beat Fulham. Bayern Munich were European champions, beating Leeds United, whilst West Germany were the reigning World Cup winners. 1975’s biggest sporting event was the ‘Thrilla in Manila’ - Muhammad Ali defeating Joe Frazier in one of boxing’s great bouts. A snapshot of the UK’s musical landscape included artists like Elton John, Rod Stewart, Wings, Pink Floyd, David Bowie, Status Quo, Bay City Rollers, David Essex, 10cc, Led Zeppelin and Queen, plus US acts like The Eagles, The Stylistics and The Carpenters. Played in all the best clubs, funk was largely absent from the chart – ignored by radio, bar a few specialist soul shows. Key funk acts included Earth, Wind & Fire, Fatback Band, Ohio Players, The Commodores and Kool & The Gang, with KC & The Sunshine Band scoring big with their infectious user-friendly Miami funk. Disco was evolving from soul and funk, with Gloria Gaynor, not Donna Summer, the original ‘disco queen’. DJs played 7” singles and LPs, the 12” still to be introduced, whilst the UK remained oblivious to New York’s beatmatching innovations, the NYC club scene largely underground - Studio 54 and the Paradise Garage yet to open. Disco music was more O’Jays than Bee Gees – ‘Saturday Night Fever’, and mainstream saturation, a few years ahead. During late-2025, and through into 2026, Greg will be playing a series of special gigs both in the UK and overseas to celebrate the anniversary, covering a spectrum of dance music that spans this past half-century. We first came across Sean, during the Pandemic, when he dropped a re-work of Fire Island’s Shout To The Top, (a cover of The Style Council by Terry Farley and Pete Heller, originally out on Junior Boys Own in 1998). Featuring the one and only Loletta Holloway on vocals. It was a healing record, for mad times. After discussing with Sean the work that went into that project our jaw dropped. Further to this we went on to learn via one of the most influential female industry players on the planet, that he was an a-grade dance-floor weapons supplier and in need of some booking support. After a deep dive and chats about everything from having a worldwide hit with a cover of the Stones in the 90’s as The Soup Dragons, to doing a duet with Prince at his place, via his love of Sly and the Family Stone and his dogs. The foundations were set for him joining the Pool family. To say he rocks the party is an understatement, check out the video here. You can also listen to his new mix for Pride month, over on Apple Music and read his new extensive biography, including news of his forthcoming releases, via our website. Very pleased to announce that the wonderful @ddwy__ are the latest addition to the Pool roster 🌀 The South London duo of Ronan @innertotality & Naomi @nangiiiiiiiii started making playful, spacious tracks during lockdown. Their early recordings quickly found a home on Munich’s @public_possession , drawn to ddwy’s restrained yet rhythmic, reflective yet dancefloor-ready sound. After two years of improvisation and refinement, their live set has evolved into an intricate layering of Naomi’s live vocals and loops, Ronan’s spangled guitar, dubbed-out percussion, and synths — a pulse where the energy is palpable. Keep an eye out for new music dropping soon on @test_pressing_official Avail now for DJ and Live bookings: 📧 [email protected]
