Resumen de la primera edición en el sur global: Y2K26 Argentina Festival Internacional de Live Looping Por primera vez este festival realizado en más de 100 ciudades, en 34 países, tuvo lugar en el sur global, uniendo Buenos Aires y la Patagonia con el resto del mundo. Entre el 7 y el 17 de febrero de 2026 se realizó la primera edición sudamericana de Y2K26 Argentina – Festival Internacional de Live Looping, una experiencia artística y comunitaria que conectó la Ciudad de Buenos Aires con la Comarca Viedma–Patagones a través de conciertos, talleres, intervenciones y espacios de formación abiertos y gratuitos. Bienvenido Rick Walker al Y2K26 Argentina! Rick Walker es compositor, multiinstrumentista, percusionista y baterista. Es uno de los miembros fundadores del movimiento World Beat y una de las figuras más destacadas del emergente movimiento International Live Looping, que incorpora una amplia gama de estilos musicales del mundo en su repertorio. Es un músico excepcionalmente versátil y sensible, con una creatividad excéntrica, capaz de encontrar ritmo y melodía en cientos de objetos cotidianos. CHATT3R Santa Cruz electronic musician John Connell AKA CHATT3R uses Hardware Synthesizers, Samplers, and iOS to create dark beats and soundscapes informed by his lifelong passion for Industrial, Metal, Noise, and Post-punk.
