This is Rejyna and Jeff, coming to you from Loopstudio23 in Burbank, and we’re excited to give you a first look at the brand-new Loop Pad from Bob Amstadt and Looperlative Audio Products.
As part of the Looperlative dev team, we’ve been hands-on with this powerful new instrument—an 8-track stereo looper built on a Raspberry Pi, packed with all the features of the LP1 and more. With 16 assignable buttons, USB connectivity for external controllers and clock sources, stereo I/O, and the Looperlative Configure app for programming, monitoring, backups, and updates, the Loop Pad is designed to take live looping further than ever.
We’re already pushing it in our own setups, Jeff with cello, SlapStick, and circuit-bent gear, and me with MIDI guitar, voice, and drum, exploring synced rigs and new creative workflows.
The Loop Pad is a true game changer for live looping, composition, rehearsal, and collaboration.
You can follow our experiments on my YouTube channel (rejyna link in bio), and keep an eye out for the upcoming “Getting Started” video on the Looperlative channel.
This is the looper artists have been waiting for, and once you dive in, it will completely transform how you create.

Problem solving: connecting audio out of one computer to the mixer input of another computer. All sorts of computer noise was in the audio. Add the isolator and noise is gone.
