My new single, “Paradise at 63 Degrees” is out on all major streaming platforms. It’s a little ditty about my home town, Half Moon Bay, CA. “If you visit don’t forget your coat…living in paradise at 63 degree”.
Lovely house concert at the Berlin apartment of Oliver & Maya last night (after 11 hours of train travel from Switzerland). Maya was very happy when we arrived on time as Deutsche Bahn is constantly late and we took four different trains to get there. It was our 4th time with them and we know so many people now it feels like home away from home. Such a beautiful place. Up to Schwerin tonight for a venue show then we wrap it up with a house concert down in Werl tomorrow. #PaulTiernanJohnLesterEuroTour2026
Christine, the 1950’s era Czech double bass I play in Europe, is settled in for our 2nd train of the day. We left Grunningen, Switzerland at 7am, now in Zurich, on to Mannheim, then change trains to Berlin where we arrive at 6pm and play a house concert tonight at 8. 11 hours of travel. This is our longest train day of the tour, which has mostly been 3-4 hours of travel per day. Oh the glamour of it all! #Paul&JohnEuroTour2026
7 hour train ride from Osnabroek, Germany to Zurich, Switzerland today so I’ve set up my video editing suite. Check out footage from our favorite moments of the 1st half of the tour! #PaulTiernan&JohnLesterTour2026
Tonight’s “house concert” in Osnabroek, Germany is a converted barn that looks and sounds great. Paul Tiernan and I play show 5 of 9 tonight on our European Tour. Gonna be a good one!
Last night’s “house concert” venue in Katwoude, NL, outside of Amsterdam. This is a converted barn. Lovely space for a show that we get to play each year. #2026PaulTiernan&JohnLesterEuroTour
