Last week, we soft launched our first locally produced brand campaign in over 7 years into the market - and gosh do I love it! Working with agency partners @72andsunny_ and @edentifyoz in the beginning phases, we stress-tested numerous concepts that cut to the core of the @princesscruisesau identity in Australia. This uncovered our local brand truth (whilst also celebrating our 50 year heritage sailing Down Under) and brand voice that The golden days of travel aren’t behind us. They’re here and now with Princess Cruises. Bringing this idea to life, we worked hand in hand with our amazing creative partners in @lochiedaddo and phenomenal director @edward_copestick , along with our international counterparts to craft a script and storyboard showcasing our stunning ships and destinations. Last night we had the honour and absolute delight to win the ‘Best Brand Partnerships’ category at the Mumbrella Travel Marketing Awards for our sponsorship of the 2024 Sydney Swans AFL and AFLW seasons. This win is a reflection of the true unified foundation we have built with the team at the Sydney Swans, Banter and internally at Princess. We aligned on a common goal, ideated how to best deliver this, and then worked hand in hand to deliver now award-winning work including our hugely popular inaugural Sydney Swans Members Cruise. Big big thanks to all those involved, this win is for all of us! We’ve set a damn high bar to try beat - but I know we’re all up for the challenge.
