“Routes” is a sound project conceived by @ordet_ for the @lenz.press bookshop in Milan. The project aims to foster a dialogue between artistic practices, research processes, books, and the public, through the experience of listening. Artists are invited to put together a playlist or an audio project to be played inside for one month. Each contribution may be structured around a particular theme or conceived specifically for the context of the bookshop, which is viewed as a cultural platform and a space for listening, passing through, and spending time. Routes takes shape as an open-ended, ever-evolving space, where listening becomes a conduit for reflection and experimentation—one with the capacity to redefine the everyday experience of the bookshop environment. ‼️OUT NOW Guglielmo Castelli: Sweet Baby Motel Published on the occasion of the exhibitions at @castellodirivoli , Rivoli-Turin, and @kunsthallewien , Vienna, “Guglielmo Castelli: Sweet Baby Motel” is the first comprehensive monograph on the artist’s painting and sculpture. The publication conducts a wide-ranging investigation into the artist’s ethereal poetics, including newly commissioned essays by the curators of the exhibitions at Castello di Rivoli Museo d’Arte Contemporanea and Kunsthalle Wien, and by art historian and critic Lillian Davies. Davies explores the enigmatic depths of Castelli’s painting practice, and curator Sarah Crowe pays particular attention to the artist’s weightless, boneless, and genderless figures. Francesco Manacorda interviews the artist on his scenographic, filmic approach. Tomaso Binga (Bianca Pucciarelli Menna, born in Salerno in 1931) stands as a pioneer figure in the Italian contemporary art scene. Rooted in her cultural background, she embodies an emancipated voice that has consistently challenged artistic, social, and gender conventions. A true pioneer of visual and sound poetry, her work unfolds through irony and sharp reflections on identity and the politics of gender — including her bold decision to adopt a male pseudonym in 1971. "Euforia", now available in our library, is published in 2024 by @lenz.press and edited by Eva Fabbris, Lilou Vidal, Stefania Zuliani with Anna Cuomo, gathers texts by Binga herself alongside contributions from Eva Fabbris, Daria Khan, Quinn Latimer, Luca Lo Pinto, Lilou Vidal, and Stefania Zuliani.

April: Jasper Marsalis Moi Non Plus Moi Non Plus translates to “me neither.” I saw this phrase written on a gong in a documentary about Karlheinz Stockhausen. I like the phrase because the subject cancels itself out. This playlist explores inverted figure–ground relationships, a collection of sonic landscapes. —Jasper Marsalis, April 2026 Special Thanks: Ligia Lewis, Nunguja Kisalya, Tom Skinner, Abraham El Makawy, Silas Johnson, Nicholas Wetherwell Routes is a sound project conceived by Ordet for the Lenz bookshop in Milan, located adjacent to the exhibition space. book presentation   I Am The F****** Subject. Art And Adolescence, Julia Marchand (ed.), Vittoria Morpurgo, Lenz 2026
15 April 2026 | h 18:30 Julia Marchand in conversation with Charlotte Laubard Why be the object when you can dive into yourself and archive your own adolescence? And what about this adolescence when it lasts until the late thirties, and expands beyond the traditional understanding of age group?

This volume redefines the coming-of-age genre by addressing the contours of the obsession with the prolonged teenager years. Contemporary art views adolescence as a mental state, a condition that has eroded the traditional markers of the passage into adulthood; not a transitory phase but a prolonged mode of being or even a critique of a world that itself refuses to stabilize.

Contemporary art views adolescence as a mental state, a condition that has eroded the traditional markers of the passage into adulthood; not a transitory phase but a prolonged mode of being or even a critique of a world that itself refuses to stabilize. Extramentale, a curatorial platform on teenage aesthetics, was founded by Julia Marchand, the editor of this book, which spans the period from the platform’s creation in 2016 through to its eventual closure in 2026. It gave voice to artist-adolescents and author-adolescents, mainly millennials and Gen Zers.
