Lovely picture of me by @rob_kulisek when I realised last February in cape May (New Jersey) that opening a gallery in Paris called ‘Good or Trash’ will be a great idea.
Already sad to be in the last week of the inaugural show ‘Ass to Ass’ . Already excited to open next week the first solo exhibition with Dean Sameshima.

After months of thoughts, doubts and work I’m proud to announce the opening of my gallery in Paris,
Good or Trash
Galerie d’art
91 quai de Valmy
A gallery as a new central territory of my art practice. A gallery like a studio to improve more than ever the exhibition as a terrific medium. Grateful for all the support of my friends and colleagues since day one. And to all of you , art as a collective action is always a success.
I will keep it brief , we will have our inaugural exhibition on September 12 , everything will be announced very soon.
See you, maybe I would wear a suit (and a tie).
xxx

Last May, I took part in the group exhibition ‘Chérie’ curated by @queerstreetpress in Paris. For the occasion, I presented a new “living archive” that revives the massive, crypto homo-pornographic aesthetic once embodied by the French boy band 2Be3 in mainstream media in the late ´90s.

Promise I'll be Kind
Opening Saturday, February 15, 6-9 pm
On August 26th 1960, a celebration unfurled on the outskirts of Paris to mark the start of construction on one of France’s very first bowling alleys. Among the guests was Jean Cocteau, who, swept up in the excitement of the night, took it upon himself to baptize the bowling balls and pins with a touch of champagne. The bowling alley remained open until 2004, when it was demolished to be replaced by Frank Gehry's Fondation Louis Vuitton.

Kévin Blinderman (b. 94, FR) orchestrates physical and mental experiences in which surrounding objects, situations and characters transcend their original function. His works and exhibitions are composed like scores, offering viewers a performative experience. In this way, the artist re-enacts and overplays the social choreographies that define one’s environment. His practice lends a melancholy and innovative density to alternative cultures and those who embody them, exploring their concrete rationality and inherent poetry.
"Promise I'll be Kind" marks the artist's first exhibition in Canada.
