Geometry of the Soul
A fluid, sculptural costume embodies the journey of healing and self-discovery. Like a chrysalis transforming into a butterfly, it captures metamorphosis—from constraint to liberation, darkness to light. Flowing with the performer, it mirrors our inner emotional landscape, speaking to moments when we retreat inward to find our center amidst chaos. Through its forms, it celebrates the complexity of connecting with our authentic selves and the transformative power of that journey.
Drawing inspiration from Elif Shafak’s ‘The Forty Rules of Love’, alongside the timeless wisdom found in Islamic patterns and Sacred Geometry, this work invites viewers to pause and reflect. In our fast-paced, often overwhelming world, it serves as a gentle reminder that the path to healing begins with returning to oneself - a universal journey that, when shared, creates ripples of inspiration and connection throughout our collective consciousness.
