This festival has truly been close to my heart for almost a decade. Chin Up was the first web series from South Africa to be involved and in 2017 I won the award for Best Actress which was huge for me. Winning an award for the thing I love doing in the city of dreams. It was honestly one of the best nights of my life. It also gave me the confidence I needed to pursue another season and get finally get it onto Showmax. So I was only too happy to be invited to join as this year’s jury alongside some extremely impressive actors and filmmakers such as:

We're back from Rome after an insane 9 months! Devin, I'm beaming with pride over your epic production - can't wait to see the final product! Rome, you were a dream - all seasons, all sights, sometimes twice! Can't believe this chapter is closed. Here's a look back at our Roman adventures.

Thank you so much for this great honor. It takes a village. I am the village. The village is me. Just kidding. I was so excited to collect @devintoselli ’s award for Best Cinematography in a feature film from this years @saftassa . It feels amazing to be a SAFTA award winner’s… wife. Hey, I’ll take what I can get at this point.
Jokes aside I am truly so proud of my husband who works his butt off to make beautiful films. He pours his heart and soul into everything he does and I am so happy to be by his side through it all.
He’s almost finished the movie he’s been working on in Rome since August 2025 and I can’t wait to reunite with him in a couple weeks when we return to Rome.
Congratulations my love. You are always a winner to us!
From auditioning over a year ago to getting a callback in Rome and shooting scenes in Cape Town, this film has been a wild ride. I had an amazing time on set with @devinglassfilms , @gingerwithagopro , @deonlotzactor , and @lindyabro . Can't wait to see the final product!
Our Roman adventure has been a dream come true. Not without its challenges, but all made perfect because of you @devintoselli .
