I froze my eggy boys! It was an arduous process but worth it to feel like I’m taking control of my future. I know I want kids, I’m just not ready yet. I am extremely open to answering any questions anyone has about it!
The TLDR is that: it’s a lot of shots but you get used to it. It’s a lot of doctor’s appointments but I was lucky to have a @kindbody location very close to my office. The main thing I was worried about was the actual retrieval day (anesthesia scares me) and it could not have been easier! I also had extremely mild/almost no side effects which makes me feel like a medical marvel. I won’t sugarcoat it, this was expensive AF. I am very lucky to have had the option for a payment plan and a wonderful mom who helped out with some costs bc you know her ass wants more grandkids!
I was also so lucky to have a supportive partner @hotfunnysmartmotti to come to appointments with me, support me through the process, help me with my shots…and take unflattering pics of me with my pants down. It felt really special when we had our shot nights together.
I wanna shoutout my friends @pandalise@abatuure and @carsonolshansky who generously detailed their own egg freezing journeys and answered my questions/quelled my fears! I wish I had done this 10 years ago tbh so if this inspires someone to put those eggalinos on ice I am glad <3 s/o to Kindbody y’all are the best!!! The staff there rocks fr.

it’s her day!!!!! she is one of one- my crazy, beautiful girl. she makes me laugh endlessly, especially when she doesn’t mean to. she taught me everything from how to save injured birds to leading with kindness. this woman makes time for everyone and frequently spends hours driving to and from the city to see me. and yeah, she’s a p.o.w.e.r nobody move powerhouse award winner for excellence in business. golden globe WHO?? so proud to be her baby. love ya momma @snow_white_maria
