• My first L.A. Post of this trip- FRIENDS! • Gosh I love my colleagues and community so deeply. My heart is sooo full, and full of more hope than it’s ever been. • What a crazy and wild five days, packed to the brim with people I love and even some new friends, too. As well as people I look up to in this rad industry of mine. Missed a few pics and people- but I will be back to my second home soon. I love you L.A. #LAstrong •

Extremely Thankful, this Thanksgiving 🍁 weekend. • Pretty much one of, if not the best @viffest for me personally. It was an absolute JOY! To speak on a VIFF AMP duet panel with @lauranikolic_ from @pirate.sound . What a leader, inspiration and kind soul. • Additionally, spend half a week hanging with Jason, my new fearless leader, friend, president of JTN Music, and employer. We got to see some films (specifically @theartofadventure__doc ) and Robert Bateman and Bristol Foster even came out for Q&A!! 92 and 95 years old. It was such a quintessential Canadian experience, and the full feature doc is unreal! A must see. We did a bunch of VIFF mixers, enjoyed meals, did some sightseeing , and much more. So grateful he came up from LA. Everyone who met him this week… has literally said “Jason must be the nicest & kindest person ever”.. . I concur! I’ve been trying to tell everyone that for a year now, in development of JTN Music Canada Inc! 😆 Now all my Vancouver industry friends understand. But next time, his lovely wife and my new friend, as well as our COO Jon definitely need to be here, too. That will make it complete. Or better yet, a JTN team retreat in BC 😁🇨🇦 • Most of all, there was so much unity and new relationships being built. And this within the film and music industries, is pivotal and game changing. Community is EVERYTHING! We need each other. And our industries are based upon collaboration. • Just all around an amazing week, in regard to work. My heart is overflowing with gratitude • Thank you @rwcalder and @luvla65 for believing in me, and giving me this opportunity. As a Vancouverite, @viffest is so special to me. Thank you Jason for believing in me. And thank you to my film and music/ sync community. Love you all long time! • Arc showcases and BC music soundoff, will have to come in another post next week- when I have more energy. 💤

• Here we have my Mentor and Award WINNER this night for @bettercallsaulamc … as well as friends and people I truly love and appreciate in my community of the guild and sync. • However, I missed about another million other photos. Especially with @lolasauur @friendlyfiredan @sarahbeetle5000 and many others 😭 So those will have to wait until next year! At least we saw each other 🧡 • It’s been a slice LA…. Until next time 🥰 • P.S. this pic of Em and I on the red carpet… is just a great day in the life of our friendship 😂 I love her long time.

• A nomination is a win already. Especially when voted on by your peers. Thank you to the @guildofmusicsupervisorscanada and my sync community for believing in me, as each year I grow, evolve, and learn more and more as a music supervisor. Each nomination is a stepping stone to the next dream, and having a second nomination means so much to me. Did this one under my own company “All T’Hat Music” 🎩 • Special shout out to @swanson.music who not only acted as music editor on this, but at times volunteered music coordinator. It was a whirlwind and I loved working with Shayla again and the @hallmarkchannel @hallmark team! •

• I am way behind. But a few months ago, I had the joy and privilege of being asked to go to Colombia 🇨🇴 to participate in the @colombiansyncmarket , as a sync and music supervisor delegate. It was such an honour to represent JTN Music, JTN Music Canada, and @silversideproductions • I can’t even describe how amazing this week was, (even with a random attack of fire ants on my foot lol) but it was the work trip of a lifetime. I made some wonderful new friends. I honestly can’t wait to go back. So here are some highlights for now. I mean, I can’t believe this is life? And I get to call this work. I love my career. • This is post 1 of 2. Here are some photos only, professional and my own. In the next week I will post some videos of the insane talent we saw and heard). • The first of two @patrickwatsonofficial shows in Van Sunday night at @commodoreballroom , was mind bogglingly amazing (of course). I’d personally only ever seen him do a short showcase a few years ago, never a full show. Also seeing @laforceband perform again as a support act, as well perform in his band alongside him, was such a treat! I saw her a few years ago in Van. Such a creative group of people at this show. • I feel like Patrick and @leifvollebekk are the mad music scientists of Montreal and I’m here for every part of it. • The lighting, sound, performance, and of course, music… well it doesn’t get much better. Patrick lost his brother three months ago suddenly, and wrote this final song entitled “brother”. • After this week in our family, where someone we know and love just lost his brother too, it felt timely that I was at this show with my brother @kerryod . I don’t take these moments for granted. My brother left the show feeling so inspired, and to all those who know my brother, you know that is wonderful for his talented creative brain 🧠! @kylecassie you would have been here too with us, if you were here! • Thank you @secretcityrecords ❤️ so inspired.

#Throwback to dinner in Los Angeles a few months ago. Also, had to repost my photo with our COO and my co-director for JTN Music Canada, Jon Persitz. As it’s his Birthday today! 🥳🎊🎉 • This is virtually only a fraction* of my #JTNMusic family. However, everyday I feel more blessed to be part of this family and team, where we continuously lift each other up, and help one another. • Having a team like this, after working independently for five years in this career, is also amazing (although I still have my own music supervision company, too) The camaraderie, even working remotely, is nothing like I’ve ever seen. • The hope as a new entity in Canada (but over 20 year company overall), is that we continue to bring the high Hollywood industry standards to our projects for music editorial, music supervision and now artist driven composition and scores, into Canada, and beyond. We are working on many fun things at the moment. • The joy and stability to simply feel safe in what is (let’s be real) a dog-eat-dog environment, is something I do not take for granted. There is a reason why many have been at JTN Music 10+ years….my only wish, is that I could see everyone more often, and they weren’t all a flight ✈️ away • 🎶🎧 Needle drop here: @juliannariolinoofficial - she is phenomenal 🍁🇨🇦 I feel like I’m in a time warp back to the best decade in music (the 70s) and it’s perfection. • This has been one of the most wonderful weeks overall, in quite some time. Seeing @jacobcollier and our very own dearest @mariedresselhuis duet “Both Sides Now” by @jonimitchell was not on my bucket list. (I will post full video separately soon) Being at the show was a treat in itself - first off, thank you to all those who made this happen for my Mom and I. • I cried , of course I cried! Your surrogate, industry big sis is so beyond proud of you, Marie. Love you so much! and I’m beyond thrilled to see where your career takes you from here. Keep flying… 🚀 • I’ve been waiting to see Jacob live for so long, and what a treat it was. Also, how amazing that he has so much family in Vancouver. Some that even sat next to us (I mean, like 50 or 60 people put up their hand when he asked for his family to raise their hands lol). • Having amazing catch ups with other dear friends, has also been phenomenal, along with fun and special captures of the week. • Thank you for the time spent all my loved ones! And thank you for the surprise treats from my employer ‘just because’ to my door. ☺️ • I don’t know what’s up with my phone camera lately, it’s buggin’ out, but at least I captured moments at the show. • This Sunday I tell you, please please! Chase your dreams. Life is a gift. Live it!
