HAPPY BIRTHDAY DJESSE VOL. 4! In honour of its 2nd go around the sun, here are some snippets from its creation process with some of my favourite people on the planet.
The album features more than 100 artists and musicians, from every continent of the world, and over 150,000 audience choir members! Its artwork is a real-life three dimensional sculpture built by the maverick legend @dustinyellin , containing over 3000 physical cut-up pieces of paper, paint and card (see slide 20).
To all of you who have kept this record such good company these past 730 days - I thank you deeply!! ❤️🔥
One of my greatest joys of 2025 was learning some local songs from places I visited on tour. Here are a few of my favourites, as a homage to all of you who have made a London lad feel so at home all around the world this year 😊😊😊
Here’s to a ‘26 of togetherness, adventure, buoyancy and hope, in these unprecedented times we’re living in. Huge love to you all ♥️
A decade ago today I released my arrangement (decapitation) of the Flintstones theme song - the second single from my debut album In My Room - which to my utter incredulousness ended up winning a Grammy! My melodica is still recovering.
