INTRODUCING: Powell Project Palettes
When it came time for @powellnashville to add some conceptual decoration to their new HQ, we were so delighted they called upon us to be part of their iconic new building in Berry Hill. Katie and Luke wanted something bold and unique that represented the work they do in hospitality. After a fun round of initial design, project palettes was born. This wallcovering reflects a huge portion of the Powell portfolio. Each palette or poster utilizes the colors and identifying shapes of each of their beautiful design/build projects complete with a few empty spaces for all they have in store. Maybe your project can make it on the Powell wall of fame?! From a technical standpoint, it was a doozy to get this geometric mural to align with precision from ceiling to wall. Thankful for our installers and @davidmeaney for making the install perfect! We loved being able to share the story of Powell’s visual impact on the world in this unconventional way.

New Hire Alert! HD just added a CCO (Chief Chewing Officer) to our management team. Meet Birdie, a 10 month old Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd mix (DNA results pending). She will mainly be in charge of HD HQ security as well as serving as a scale figure in HD product posts. Everybody give Birdie a warm welcome to the HD team. @kt.vance and I couldn’t be happier with the new addition to the family.

12 years with my Dottie girl ✨ We had to say goodbye to her last night Oct 4th.
She was pure magic! A true HollerD girl from the start. We found her under Matt’s wood shop on the farm and Matt knew from the start he wanted that big brown one! The best girl I could have ever asked for - she loved carrots, peanut butter, HD farm time, Dottie days, snow, our friends, walks, pets from anyone and my Momma. The sweetest and most human eyed gal.
She saw me through the hardest thing I’ve ever gone through and took it stride when we moved back to the city.
I will miss her dearly. Thank you for finding us sweet girl. 💔💜
Happy 40th to @thebrotherben - I am the luckiest to have him in my life for all 40 of those years. He’s the very best of the best. Cheers to you! 💜
