We’re already loving the broad interpretations of our soleil 🌞 theme, but none more than @gombo.atelier whose handmade accessories evoke blazing hot Louisiana afternoons. Their work is part folk art, part contemporary design, and completely unique. On June 12 + 13 at Porter Flea Summer Market you’ll see necklaces, bolero ties, earrings and hair clips that feature preserved crawfish, alligator teeth, cicadas and native plants like the passionflower. Our favorite by far though is the okra and giant okra flowers, often accentuated by hand-casted brass okra tips 🤌🏼
