Ice storm 2026.
These photos are from the beginning and end of the ice storm. It was too mentally draining to get the camera out in the middle of it. 35° inside the house for 4 days before we finally got a hotel. Definitely was a traumatic experience trying to maintain my business and keep morale for the family up at the same time.
Leica M6 + Kodak Vision. Mostly shot these at sunrise, sunset, and blue hour.

Anyone one else still make a composite image when your lens isn’t wide enough? I really wanted a shot of this building in Louisville but this was the only way. It was definitely fun to do, a reminds me of doing this with multiple print outs in high school film/art class. I had to use generative AI for the top left corner as I didn’t get as many shots as I needed. I used the photo merge tool in photoshop and then corrected the perspective afterwards. It’s definitely not perfect but it was fun try out again after so many years.

It’s been really difficult to shoot, let alone find time to look at or edit photos the past few months with my busy season at work, but here are my favorites from a 6 roll batch I recently got developed.

A few months ago I started hand rolling cinema film into used film canisters and I shot way too many rolls before developing and seeing if they would actually turn out, and I’m happy to say they did! With bulk rolling it turned out to be $5 a roll plus development and scanning.
