It was a treat to spend time with old and new friends at @cartier in St Tropez to see its latest high jewellery collection, which was a real testament to the untouchable beauty of handcraft in an increasingly AI-ed world. And fun to stay in the legendary Hotel Byblos on the very day that Mick and Bianca Jagger had their famous wedding reception there, 55 years ago. Thank you @lvroffle@melina_anesti and team ✨
Normalise wearing the stuff you like again and again and again and some more. These two skirts have seen the world and felt at home in Venice, where I did not want to leave my stay at @palazzocristo
I’ve been invited to @labiennale a few times over the years and was never able to make it because the invitation dates often clashed with fashion’s cruise season. But this year, the stars aligned and I could finally go and see the festival, which for me was a whirlwind experience filled with art, protest, celebration, mourning, healing, surprise reunions and much to think about in a world that feels like it’s on fire. Loved seeing the epic In Minor Keys, by the 2026 festival curator Koyo Kouoh who passed away last year. And I was deeply inspired to witness her enormous legacy and how much care her curatorial team put into bringing her vision to life. Am taking her words with me: ‘Because, though often lost in the anxious cacophony of the present chaos raging through the world, the music continues. The songs of those producing beauty in spite of tragedy, the tunes of the fugitives recovering from the ruins, the harmonies of those repairing wounds and worlds.’ Thank you @hazendal_estate@kiarascottfarmer@zeitzmocaa@purplepr
As part of the ELLE Collective x Soho House book club series, the poet and novelist Ocean Vuong will join ELLE UK’s editor-in-chief Kenya Hunt to discuss his latest book The Emperor of Gladness.
The author has established himself as one of his generation’s preeminent literary voices, tackling themes of grief, trauma and beauty with striking tenderness. His debut novel, On Earth We’re Briefly Gorgeous, shot him to global acclaim when it was published in 2019. Last year, he cemented that status with The Emperor of Gladness.
Join us for an inspiring and far-ranging discussion about The Emperor of Gladness, his journey as a writer and his approach to personal style. There’s no need to have read the book ahead of the event - copies will be available to purchase on the night, ready for a post-Q&A book signing.

@matthieu_blazy ’s debut cruise show for @chanelofficial in Biarritz was full of beachy delights 🌊 Loved the big totes and even bigger raffia skirts, loved the glittering shoes, shimmery mermaid dresses, and playful swim references — and as always, his thoughtful and inclusive casting. As the child of a seaside town, I am here for it 🐚
QUEEN MARGARET 💛 I can’t overstate Margaret Busby’s impact on British publishing, or on generations of women writers. Her groundbreaking anthology Daughters of Africa — first published in 1992 — brought together works by more than 200 novelists, poets and essayists and became both a launchpad for new literary voices and a place of joyful discovery. As a young reader, it was where I encountered a whole world of women storytellers from across the diaspora, beyond the handful whose books made it onto my classroom reading lists. It has had a permanent place on my shelves ever since. Now, as Margaret publishes her new book, Part of the Story, in a very different cultural landscape, she reflects on the role writers play in a rapidly changing world.
