It has taken me many weeks to even begin to process the magnitude of what we experienced in Dharamsala a few weeks ago and the ripple effect throughout the world. Tibetan culture is very much alive — an ancient science and philosophy steeped in art and intention. Nothing in this culture is intended to be a relic, instead a practice of kindness that breathes through wisdom and compassion. ✨ I am forever grateful for the teachers and friends, old and new, who bring us together. For the scholars and monks and nuns who hold us in wisdom. For our collective teams and producers at Harmonica and Harvest. Last week I had the honor of opening the @clearlight.ventures Longevity Salon in Miami, hosted by the brilliant @katysaeger ☀️🌴 with an invocation and ritual 🪄that set the tone for an extraordinary day of science, capital, and soul. The room was filled with family offices and investors, neuroscientists, conservationists, and visionaries like: – @stephen.rodan , whose AI robot 🤖 is rebuilding 🪸 coral reefs – @jordanfutureprez of @jetsandcapital bringing deal flow, capital, networking & charity together 💰 – @pocketfulofxtals 💎 a mineral scientist spanning, mineral-based medicine, pharmaceuticals, food waste & clean energy – @_tonycho_ & @focities a maverick rethinking urban design and healthy cities 🏙️ – @immunotherapyforcancer pioneering immunotherapy for ♋️ – @drkathleenoneil OG Queen of #peptides 🧬 – @dr.goodyear innovator in #IntegrativeOncology And then there was @dr.lisamiller , one of the foremost researchers proving the neural correlates of #spirituality in the brain, who I’ve admired for years, and meeting her in person is already shaping where my work is headed next. What struck me most was how hungry people are for this, for real rooms, real conversation, real co-regulation in a world that keeps moving faster and more digital. Gathering in person to cross-pollinate ideas across wellness, business, and science is not a retreat from the future, it IS the future. This is the work. Before 11 a.m. we dropped into the neuroscience of deep intention and nervous system regulation alongside Longevity, wellness, hospitality, peptides, pharmaceuticals, psychedelic medicine and ocean science in one real conversation. To know me is to know I live somewhere in the middle. Between California and Florida. Between conservation and innovation. Between social good, capitalism, freedom and common sense. I do not swing with the noise, or trends. I do not move with extremes. I believe in stewardship, in building, in protecting what matters, while creating and leaning in to what’s next. Conservation, to me, isn’t political. It’s practical. It’s responsible. It’s the highest technology and most valuable asset. Have you ever seen a seahorse in real life? You will be changed. I wrote something I care about last fall for @tampabaytimes after studying dolphins and being overwhelmed by the beauty of the Gulf. And recently, alongside all of that beauty, there’s also been news of species loss and extinction. Even as someone who believes in energy, progress, and innovation, I don't believe we need to accept this. Creating sovereign energy, regenerating the ocean, these are profitable ventures with enduring returns. It doesn’t change my perspective. It clarifies it. Invest in what matters. Link in bio.

Always the most poignant teachings from my dear friend and guide, the revered Geshe Lakdor. We are shaped by habit. The mind we carry today is the result of what we have practiced, consciously or unconsciously. Negative emotions, repeated over time, become patterns. Patterns become suffering. But imprint simply means habit. And habits can be changed. When we intentionally cultivate compassion, love, patience, and steadiness, those qualities begin to imprint on the mind. What we practice repeatedly becomes natural. What becomes natural begins to guide our life. We are controlled by our mind, but we can train the mind. Meditation is not an escape. It is the process of replacing harmful habits with wise ones. Over time, good habits become strong. They travel with us. They shape who we become. Practice gently. Practice repeatedly.
