Comment ‘more’ to subscribe to hear my weekly thoughts for you, my community. Before you hear my views on cancer care, I want you to know who I am — not just what I do. I began in OB-GYN, caring for women and families, and learned early that healing must address the whole person. Over time, hard questions led me into integrative oncology — not to reject conventional care, but to expand what’s possible when we consider immunity, metabolism, inflammation, environment, and quality of life. Today, through the Williams Cancer Institute, my work is precision-based, immune-focused, and deeply personal. There are no magic bullets — only thoughtful care, informed patients, and partnership. This work matters because every patient carries a story, not just a diagnosis. Thank you for being here and walking this journey with me. 👉 Comment MORE to join my newsletter for weekly insights, updates, and education on cancer, immunity, and whole-person care.

Is THIS the Future of Cancer Care? Comment ‘podcast’ for a link in your dm’s for the episode! Imagine a world where cancer treatment doesn’t automatically mean surgery, chemo, or radiation. Sounds impossible? It’s not. 🎙️ On an episode of the Prescribed Podcast (LIVE on YouTube), we dive into how precision immunotherapies, intratumoral injections, and targeted medications are changing the game. ✅ “We didn’t cut. We didn’t burn. We went in, injected what was needed… and the tumor started swelling. That’s a sign the immune system is working.” 📍This is integrative oncology in action. Not future theory—today’s innovation. 👉 Watch the full episode now on YouTube. 🔗 Link in bio. #PrescribedPodcast #DrNathanGoodyear #CancerInnovation #FutureOfCancerCare #IntegrativeOncology #NoMoreChemo #PrecisionMedicine #MedicalBreakthroughs #Immunotherapy #AlternativeCancerTreatment #WilliamsCancerInstitute #MakeAmericaHealthyAgain #ScienceBasedHealing #HealingWithoutCutting #OncologyRevolution #CancerHope #PodcastLaunch #YouTubePodcast #ivermectin

How Methylene Blue Works to Target Cancer - Read Below 👇 There’s been a lot of buzz about methylene blue—even Joe Rogan & Mel Gibson have talked about it. But what does the science actually say? Methylene blue isn’t just a stain—it’s a cancer-fighting powerhouse. Here’s how it works: 🔹 Selective Cancer Targeting – It accumulates in cancer cells for precise destruction.
🔹 Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) – When paired with red light (630-680nm), it induces oxidative stress to destroy cancer cells.
🔹 Surgical Precision – Highlights tumor boundaries & lymph nodes to guide surgeons.
🔹 Mitochondria Attack – Shifts cancer metabolism from aerobic glycolysis to oxidative phosphorylation(weakening tumors).
🔹 Boosts Standard Treatments – Enhances chemo, radiation, & IV vitamin C effectiveness.
🔹 Inhibits Tumor Growth – Restores chemo sensitivity & blocks immune evasion. 🔥 This is why at Williams Cancer Institute, we target hypoxic areas in tumors with precision! 🎙 Want to learn more? Watch the latest deep dive on Prescribed Podcast (YouTube & Spotify, 🔗 link in bio).

Renaming a condition doesn’t automatically solve it. PCOS is now being reframed as “polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome” to better reflect the metabolic and hormonal complexity involved. And that’s an IMPORTANT acknowledgment. But the bigger question remains: Why are we seeing younger disease, rising obesity, earlier hormonal dysfunction, fertility struggles, and more aggressive chronic illness in the first place? If we never address: • Gut microbiome disruption • Chronic inflammation • Environmental exposures • Metabolic dysfunction • Epigenetic and lifestyle factors …then changing terminology alone won’t change outcomes. Women deserve more than symptom management and rebranding. They deserve medicine that asks deeper questions about root causes, prevention, immune health, metabolism, and long-term wellness. That’s how we change the trajectory for future generations. #pmos #pcos

What if the immune system isn’t absent… but blocked? Today at Williams Cancer Institute, we’re treating different tumor types with one common question in mind: Why is the immune system failing to respond the way it should? Some tumors are “immune excluded” — the immune system recognizes them but can’t get in. Others are inflamed but dysfunctional — immune cells are present, but exhausted and impaired. And the deeper question is becoming harder to ignore: Are modern environments, altered gut microbiomes, chronic inflammation, and disrupted immune priming shaping disease decades before diagnosis? These are the questions driving the future of immune-focused medicine. Because treatment isn’t just about targeting a tumor. It’s about understanding the ecosystem surrounding it.

This young man deserves hope. Not false promises. Not empty words. But real hope grounded in real innovation. One of the hardest parts of medicine right now is that innovation is moving faster than access. Doctors, researchers, and clinicians across the world are working relentlessly to build new immune-focused therapies, intratumoral strategies, microbiome approaches, and precision treatments designed to engage the body instead of simply destroying it. But many patients never hear about them. Not because people don’t care. Not because doctors aren’t trying. But because systems move slowly while patients need help today. At the center of all of this is something medicine too often forgets: Hope matters. Confidence in tomorrow matters. The immune system matters. And there are physicians around the world who wake up every day fighting to push innovation forward because they believe patients deserve more than fear and timelines. Sometimes the most important thing you can give someone is the belief that tomorrow is still worth fighting for.

In my not so humble, humble opinion… 😆 Alcohol has been completely bastardized in the health conversation. And to be clear, I’m not advocating that everyone go raise a glass. But it is interesting what we collectively decide is “bad” or worthy of warning labels… while other things get prescribed every single day with barely a second thought. Hormonal birth control and certain hormone therapies also carry very clear and established carcinogenic risk. Yet where is the real conversation around risk stratification? I’m not anti-hormone. I prescribe hormones when appropriate. This is anti-cavalier medicine. Family history matters. Clotting risk matters. Estrogen metabolism matters. Personal cancer history matters. The terrain matters. If something meaningfully shifts risk, patients deserve more than a rushed conversation and a prescription pad. “Common” does not mean benign. #carcinogens #informedconsent #integrativemedicine #hormones #alcohol

What if the tumor itself could help activate the immune system? That’s the conversation. Every Friday, Dr. Nathan Goodyear and Dr. Jason Williams go live on The Goodwill Show breaking down the future of immune-focused medicine, intratumoral therapy, and why the old models are changing. No scripts. No watered-down conversations. Just real discussion about where innovation is heading.

What if treatment actually started in the gut? This week in Los Angeles, we’re focusing on something most people overlook: The gut microbiome. Fecal transplants are used to: • Support immune system function • Improve immunotherapy response • Reduce treatment side effects Because the immune system isn’t random— it’s primed in the gut. This is where strategy begins. If you’re trying to understand what options may be right for you, we’ve created a resource to help guide that process— based on therapies reviewed and approved by Dr. Goodyear. Comment MORE to take the quiz and learn what approaches may fit your situation.
