We welcome again the stellar duo Fatwires (@basswald / John Eckhardt) & Atsushi Izumi(@_atsushiizumi ) combining their craft for a brand new EP, „KYUKAN“.
While last year’s „Kisen Kongou“ featured more transparent and beat-oriented material, „Kyukan“ features heavier slabs of noise, more elastic pulsations and endless shades of grey.
Simultaneously futuristic and archaic, and strangely resting in its hypnotic forward momentum, the music balances primal rawness with a love for sonic detail. Like a self-organizing swarm of particles transmitted from a distant past or future into a worn-out, Buson-like tableau, eerie landscapes emerge that are populated by moving, ghostly shapes and bursts of colour.

Am Freitag den 24.04 gibt es ein Ramsch^3 Konzert im burofür, Einlass ist um 19:30
Beginn um 20:00 mit dabei sind: @katrinbethge , @perhaselstrauch@isab_for und @ronjasophieputz
RAMSCH^3 ist ein audiovisuelles Konzertformat, das die Interaktion zwischen Schlagzeug/Objekten, modularen Synthesizern, präparierter Violine und Overhead-Projektionen erforscht. Das deutsche Wort „Ramsch“ steht für nutzlose, möglicherweise veraltete, entbehrliche Gegenstände. Dieser Ramsch wird nicht nur in der Performance selbst verwendet, sondern dient auch als konzeptionelles Rückgrat der Aufführung.
So werden Nutzlosigkeit, Überschwang, Unbeabsichtigtheit und Verfall für Augen und Ohren lebendig gemacht, wobei eine schmale Assoziationslinie durchquert wird, während gleichzeitig ein klarer Verlauf beibehalten wird, der sowohl aus skizzierten als auch aus improvisierten Passagen besteht.
Das Konzert findet mit dem @jazzkollektiv.halle statt.
