Week two of Tender is underway… Come by Chrissie Cotter Gallery at 1pm Fridays for a curator’s tour of the exhibition, or join us for artist talks on Saturday at 2pm. Rescheduled for this weekend! To mark National Science Week 2025, the Multi-Arts Pavilion, mima, has commissioned artist Ryan Wild to create a work on the theme of Stargazing. “You Are a Universe” is an immersive 360-degree projection work, offering a visually stunning and contemplative journey through the solar system and beyond. Featuring @juundaal @sisterglitternullius The work blends scientific storytelling with poetic sound design to create an experience that is both educational and meditative. Join us from 5:30-9pm, 16th August for the opening and a night of stargazing. The Newcastle Astronomical Society will be setting up the telescopes outside for a chance to view the planets and stars up close.
