Produced by @abcstone , the film explores the lifelong creative process of multi-disciplinary designer @markgrattan — from his Ohio roots to studios in NY and Mexico City — and follows the artistic journey of the latest iteration of the Hermanx table, from a quarry in Vermont to a historic theater on the Lower East Side. 👏

On a chilly afternoon last week, I had the pleasure of a very warm welcome at @heirloomxahd , a beautifully curated home & design shop in Westfield, NJ. The visit was to participate in the latest panel discussion hosted for members of AHD Trade, a program created by @ahdandco to support designers in their community. Together with photographer @mikevantassell , marketing pro Val Anderson/@vianderson23 & architect and owner of AHD&Co Anastasia Harrison, we discussed “Getting Your Work Noticed: A Designer’s Guide to Visibility.” From photo shoots and styling to editorial pitches and personal social feeds… we covered it all. Last week, I had the pleasure and honor of moderating two talks packed with the brilliant insight of LA creatives at the inaugural Design West Hollywood, an event designed to celebrate 75 years of design excellence in this vibrant neighborhood.
At BoConcept, we traveled around the world to discuss The Evolution of Global Design with Cesar Giraldo of @cesargiraldodesign , Huma Sulaiman of @humasulaimandesign , Ryan Saghian of @ryansaghian , and Richard Landry of @landrydesigngroup , making stops in Brazil, Mexico, Singapore, and beyond to share design inspiration from around the world.
And at MASS Beverly, we stayed hyper local to discuss Iconic LA: The Past, Present and Future of an Architectural Legend. Our intention was to both reflect and inspire as we discussed the cultural and personal significance of what was lost to the wildfires and how to move forward together with Jaime Rummerfield of @saveiconicarchitecture , Adam Hunter of @lacando_org , Andre Herrero of @ch_herrero , Paul McClean of @mccleandesign , Huay Wee of @rioshome , Kelly Schandel of @thinkpure_interiors , David Montalba of @montalbaarchitects , and Jamie Bush of @jamiebushco .
