My job as an event designer is to design a concept, figure out a way to bring it to life and to problem solve alongside the vendor team through its execution. This means countless hours of ideation, meetings onsite and calls amongst the team to discuss logistics and feasibility. Beyond grateful for the talent and expertise of this all star vendor team! It was truly a labor of love to bring this special idea to fruition.
For this project I partnered with
@katykamalievents whose production expertise made the overall logistical process seamless from start to finish. Katy’s incredible experience and fabulous vendor contacts helped pull this project off in less than a month. One of the biggest components of the look were the fabric and floor projections.
@reallybigvideo made magic happen by building, tweaking and fine tuning their equipment to project the artwork I provided perfectly. The moody ambiance was created by the blackout curtains hung throughout the room and by the sheer drapery on which we projected.
@runestoneevents hung hundreds and hundreds of yards of fabric throughout the space on the most creative rigging system put up by
@greenlightpdx . Greenlight also hung a huge magical chandelier in the center of the space that I added ruched black fabric to. The magic came to life when
@bowsandarrowsflowers installed the most dreamy pond-like floral throughout the space and
@greenlightpdx turned on their cryo-fog machine. To be able to shoot such a massive look, we needed space and time.
@ardeneventcollective graciously hosted us in one of their warehouses - providing not only the most incredible support but the perfect modern velvet benches for our ceremony in the round. 🖤
