DOWN&OUT: A new club performance by Ife Olujobi & Garrett Allen aka *crying at the club*
A new performance series about feeling bad (in community). How do we hold despair, conflict, disconnection, disappointment, panic, and ennui actively in a space where we’re meant to be euphoric and dissociative? If the dancefloor can’t be an escape from our personal, social, and political realities, can it still be a release? What happens when you can’t leave your problems at the door? They follow you inside and dance (and fuck) with you. Wherever you go, there you are, still shaking ass.
We will have extremely limited tickets available at the door, so we encourage you to secure your spot early.
