Back in 2019 I was contacted by Melanie Grant about featuring my work in COVETED, her first book for @phaidonpress published 2020. I was one of 75 jewellery artists worldwide identified by Melanie as having changed design.
It was an enormous honour, but one that is about to be trumped by Melanie’s greatly anticipated, second book for Phaidon, due to be launched in New York this week.
“The Jewelry Book” is a stunning and authoritative collection spanning over 200 years of jewelry history.
Edited by Melanie Grant in collaboration with an international panel of experts, this lavish volume features 300 of the industry’s greatest contributors, arranged in A-Z order.
It delves into the designers, creative houses, artists, collectors, and style icons who have shaped the world of jewelry. From iconic brands like Cartier and Tiffany & Co. to innovative contemporary designers, the book reveals jewelry’s deep connection to fashion, art, and culture.
Filled with inspirational images, the book itself is a beautiful object, designed to evoke a dazzling gemstone.
I’m thrilled that two of my fellow artists represented by Elisabetta Cipriani Gallery are also featured, Joy BC and Ute Decker, as well as Elisabetta herself and my good friends at Didier Ltd.

I’m very excited to be taking part in Brighton Open Houses this May in the fabulous home of my friend and colleague, the amazing @saraharnettstudio where I’ll be selling my new ‘Dash’ collection.
Enter The Little Picture Palace and step into Sarah Arnett’s dazzling technicolour dreamscape. Her work fuses illusion, theatricality, and storytelling, where jewelled colours shimmer and mystical creatures wander through exotic lands. Inspired by theatre, travel, rich in visual discovery, each piece is layered with intricate detail and radiant colour. With guest artists and creators alongside her, this vibrant showcase invites you to leave reality behind and immerse yourself in pure imagination.

And they’re finished!! I’m so happy with them. For some reason I’ve never mixed up the colours like this before, always favouring a softer fade from top to bottom, but I’m loving it. Such drama!! The fact they’re reversible is still one of my best ideas, born out of a very happy accident.
I’m probably not the best person to be modeling these, but you get the idea. In fact, perhaps I should practice what I preach and be a bit braver with my earring choices 🤔

Vicky and I began working together when she first opened her gorgeous gallery at the Barbican in Plymouth. It was back in the early days of my Elytra collection and so I’m feeling very nostalgic as I make a special pair of giant, multicoloured, Elytra earrings for the show. I look forward to sharing photos of them finished.
