SPOTLIGHT ON THE JEWELLERS IN MY LIFE - (lucky me!) ♦️I wake up every morning during @artistsopenhouses in May trying not to go shopping whilst waiting for my coffee to brew! tempted always by the beautifully displayed jewellery around my house… but it’s impossible. Too tempting.🔶 Friends, studio mates, and makers I admire deeply — this little gang have completely given me my jewellery mojo. I never felt grown-up enough for jewellery. I remember thinking when I was little : one day, when I have proper grown-up hands like my mother’s, I’ll wear sparkly rings, jangly bracelets, and something precious around my neck that moves with me when I do.🔷 And somehow, that day arrived. 💫 @johnmoorestudio made my wedding earrings.�@vivienne.ridley made both my engagement and wedding rings.�@rawsolace created special earrings for my first exhibition in Dubai.�And @katie.weiner.jewellery made me a necklace holding a figa hand, keeping me safe from evil. ✨ So it’s a total joy to welcome these brilliant friends and talented artisans to my Artist Open House this May.
