Yesterday would have been my father’s 100th birthday #franknewby - as the leading structural engineer of his generation we celebrated by visiting two of his better known buildings: #snowdenaviary @zsllondonzoo - I am wearing my @vickiamberysmith aviary brooch, a present from @artistjewel . We then had cocktails in the former American Embassy, designed by the architect #eerosaarinen

My lovely mother passed away yesterday after many sad years of suffering from Altzheimers but we have wonderful memories of her love, laughter and the love of art that she passed onto all of us, while in turn we have these portraits painted by her grandfather #paulsieffert

They are known in various sizes but this is the smallest.
