🎨 Gisteren waren wij bij de opening van @thisartfair en wat een feest was het! 🎉
In de industriële setting van @door_open_space l op het NDSM-terrein in Amsterdam-Noord presenteren meer dan 130 kunstenaars hun werk, van schilderijen tot performances en van fotografie tot video-installaties.
This Art Fair is een unieke kunstbeurs waar kunstenaars zélf hun werk tonen en verkopen, zonder tussenkomst van galeries. Het is dé plek om nieuw talent te ontdekken, direct in gesprek te gaan met makers en je te laten verrassen door de diversiteit van de hedendaagse kunst.

✨Onze co-directeur & curator Jip Hinten @jiphinten is één van de talenten van het FD persoonlijk van @financieeledagblad ! In de lijst staan 50 veelbelovende jonge en vernieuwende ondernemers, kunstenaars en professionals tot en met 35 jaar die met hun werk bijdragen aan een betere wereld.
✨Trots dat de tentoonstellingen van 38CC worden erkend voor de kwaliteit en hun toegankelijkheid voor een breed publiek: ‘laagdrempelig, gelaagd en vol ideeën’.

Sunny Side Up💛✨
The way someone likes their eggs tells a lot about a person. The four artists that meet each other in this booth at Springboard Art Fair, all like their eggs Sunny Side Up. Slightly rough and crispy on one side, soft and smooth on the other. On top, a yellow shiny surface in perfect balance, that can burst at a single touch, so the still gooey yolk can escape -and run in often unexpected directions.
This analogy, though maybe slightly unusual, is one that connects the different works presented here. Playing with a contrast of textures, shapes and colors, all artist seek for a tension between hard and soft, heavy and light, may it be in subject matter, or materials.

Nu de zomer dan toch echt voorbij lijkt te zijn tijd voor een terugblik op een paar fijne momentjes de afgelopen maanden, om te beginnen: Pasen in Parijs ✨💕🐝
Eindelijk weer kunst kijken!💛💛💛 Dit is in museum Ludwig in Keulen, waar de musea wel gewoon open mochten blijven de afgelopen weken, maar het gaat om het idee :)
