Marcos y Carlos.
Back in 2022 my mom got her residency and we went to Mexico. I got to meet my grandpa for the first time & my mom got to see her pops for the first time in 30yrs. While he showed us around Cordoba, we ran into some of his old friends that would play music on the same block he played dominos at. I wish I got to see one of there games. Years later they still play music.
Unnamed worker.
A while back walking around the Central Valley I ran into a man. We spoke of life and how he’s worked various jobs in the fields, packing house, many other roles. My parents run a taqueria, and have for about 13yrs and just like him have worked in many roles in their lives. If it isn’t clear already immigrants are the back bone of the entire country. From long hours to long days. They sacrifice everything of themselves to support their family and live a better life. I remember days where my parents would come home late, I remember waking up with them at 4am as a 3rd grader to cross the Bay Bridge just so they can drop us off at our grandparents and make it to work on time. If you still think people don’t belong here reevaluate your life and consider who makes it possible to live your life. As always Fuck Ice, Chinga La Migra. Nothing is done without the cost of the people.
A couple weeks back had the pleasure of documenting @victorray over the course of a couple days working on his album. It all led up to a performance with a live orchestra at @eastweststudios and I can’t begin to explain what it was like hearing all the strings in one place. Thankful for the opportunity and @itscarlossanchez for being second camera and help with lighting.
Some shots I got while in the studio shot on my digital camera.
Go check out @victorray
To shooting on 16MM, I remember buying my first camera and excited to just mess with it. Now beyond thankful for everyone letting me capture them from friends, artists, musicians, weddings, and to anyone in between. Thankful for whoever let me film them in such a raw and beautiful format, can’t wait to see all the projects to come next year and excited to keep sharing and shooting fun ass projects.
Thank ya,

Shout out to @jensinewildrose for letting us capture her! Some of my favorite shots while running around in San Diego with the homies. Fun vivid colors all around. Truly a dream to be able to shoot on film and excited to see what else we gonna do.
