my debut album “AURACLE” is officially out on all streaming platforms <3 this album means so much to me because it lives at a threshold between grief & alchemy. each song a sigil of protection and presence. i wrote to the crossroads man, i wrote offering(s) to orixas, and to all of my loved ones who have crossed over & who are still here (dancin’). as an act of devotion to myself though, i wrote it for my inner child who always gon’ have some shit to say. thank you deeply to all my kin who helped me with this album. who helped me curate this show. y’all are actively saving my life. processing grief ain’t easy, this is my version of step 1. and because i love you, i wrote part 1 of a substack series w/ a curated playlist that details the stories of how each song came to be. all links in bio 🌬️🧿🫂 see y’all tonight <3 xoxo, Ash cover art by: @childinmars

i’m excited to announce that my debut single, “willow talk” will be released on all streaming platforms june 15th, alongside my debut film: “Line of Reverence,” screening @qwocmap 20th annual film festival ⭐️ the lyrics for this song came dancing through my fingertips last year when i was sitting on my floor listening to the sounds of an ex-lover play his favorite instrument. what came through, was a battle cry. i noticed myself feeling into the iniquity of the world, motherless children, and shifting the paradigms within myself and the world around me. this song is my chiron placement; embodying the wounded healer. in an attempt to protect my inner child who has always loved to sing, i forgot about her need to shine. this song is a love letter to her. as it is a love letter to my lineage, the poetics embedded in ancestral retrieval, and the permanence of these scars. these scars that are here to serve as a reminder of how many battles (we) have won to get here. the phrase “willow talk,” (coined by ME) can be defined as: multidimensional speak, spellwork, enchantment, divination, ethereal, sacred channeling, woo-woo, yip yap, nonsense but it makes sense yfm, ashe eshe, idan 🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊 pre-save link in my bio xoxo sincerely, auracle ash 💌 📹📸 by: @jes.dos

happy holiday <3 it’s been about a month since i released my debut album and i’ve decided to give you all a new long-form substack post & some surprise bonus tracks (if you can find them 💝) this new post was very hard to write. i was up until 6 am processing how my heart has been able to carry the weight of so much grief as i’ve been silently carving places out in my body for it to live. i’m grateful to be an artist and to be a pisces, but treading water gets tiring. experiencing burnout from releasing a big project + processing how transformative this year has been. as the story goes, a lot of friends have asked that i release the album on alternative platforms so i decided to put it on bandcamp + soundcloud. there’s also a special feature i have on the freedom from famine tape curated by @careof.co with @vinny.goat 🌀🌱 it would mean the world to me if y’all listened & donated to the freedom from famine tape, supported AURACLE by donating what you can on bandcamp, read my substack post and subscribe, and hug your loved ones real tight 🫂 all links in bio. xoxo, Ash
