Just wanted to put out a message for anyone on I interact with on Instagram to say I won’t be using this platform for the foreseeable future. If you’d like to reach out for anything feel free to send an email through the one in my bio, text, call, or of course a real conversation in person. Peace!
Here are some moments from a fantastic session yesterday at @bignicestudio tracking drums for original songs by @stereoface@niteelectric
Engineered by the wonderful Chaimes Parker @chaimes
Here’s some cool footage of us tracking “I’ll Wait and Pray” from the new @mutter.earth album back in 2024, at the old @microscopic_sounds space. This was the take we ended up using on the record, which was special because Dante and I had a moment where we syncopated on a hit that we had never rehearsed. Hope you enjoy this glimpse into the recording of the song!
“I’ll Wait and Pray” by Mutter is finally out!
I’m so proud to be a part of this beautiful album, it’s been a few years in the making and has been such a labor of love from everyone involved. Watching these songs come to life and evolve over many practices and shows has been a joy to watch and be a part of, and it’s truly a privilege to make this music with such great people and players. Thank you to everyone who has supported the band thus far, please give it a listen and enjoy!
Recorded by and at: @microscopic_sounds@distortedforeststudio
Mastered by: @chillguys@bignicestudio
Album features saxophone by: @catandthesax and @chaseceglie

Here’s a look at the recording session for the song “Beyond Repair” by @stereoface
Was really swinging for the fences on the ride section as you can see, but the main room at @bignicestudio had these fantastic drums sounding even greater!
(80’s Sonor Phonic set, 60’s Ludwig 6.5x14 Super Sensitive Snare)
Here’s some noodling on the absolutely stunning 1940’s Slingerland Radio King set I got from the great guys over at @woodandweatherdrumshop Had to throw in the iconic Gene Krupa “Sing, Sing, Sing” lick near the end. These drums not only feel great to play, but sound amazing both acoustically and recorded as well. I used them on the session for the @natevthomas song “Anchor Worms”, coming out this winter.
Here’s a segment of a video on my YouTube channel with @harrington.band where we just vamp and solo over the song “Electric Relaxation” by Tribe Called Quest. Super laid back and a great song to just let the melody breath and add accents to propel it forwards.
