ok the movies are back @lostbagspace 🎞️ and we’re gonna be starting at a later time! doors at 7:30 movie at 8:00 🕗 $5-15 but NOTAFLOF 🍿 and bring a donation for food not bombs while you’re at it! 4/21: Park Chan-wook’s THE HANDMAIDEN bc I promised to show it first thing back after those no good awful back to back snowstorms ruined the movies 4/28: David Lynch’s THE STRAIGHT STORY which I haven’t seen in a few years but frequently refer to as a favorite in his filmography and it’s one people often miss so come see what you’re missing 5/12: Charles Burnett’s TO SLEEP WITH ANGER featuring one of the best Danny Glover performances, one of the best of the 90s 5/26: Yasujiro Ozu’s LATE SPRING which I think I was also supposed to show like two years ago but had to postpone for whatever reason! if you aren’t on Ozu this is a really great place to start

JUNE 9 PUPPET PERFORMANCE @bitch.eat.dog B*tch Eat Dog is a puppet-filled sketch show interrogating the gendered ethics of pursuit. A tradwife named Felicity Groundwater hawks her questionable raw milk wares and ultimately breastfeeds a member of the audience with one of her nine pendulous burlap boobs. A new kind of IUD insertion escalates until rats are being shoved down a cervix. The evening is hosted by a hapless, well-intentioned white man who flails wildly as his misguided attempts at allyship lead to a painful realization. Content Warning: Violence, Sexual Assault, Puppet Nudity local support from @campbell_fackre and @h.b.dubbz $10-15 doors 7:30pm performances at 8pm

We’re helping put on a couple of shows this summer! First up: 6/21 at @lostbagspace @lupo_citta (Boston, MA) @500dollarsband (Kingston, NY) @explodingzones Doors at 7:30, Music at 8:00 $15 NOTAFLOF —— Lupo Città is a trio featuring Chris Brokaw (guitar, vocals)—a longtime Cambridge-based musician known for his work with Codeine, Come, Martha’s Vineyard Ferries—alongside Boston-based members Sarah Black (guitar, bass) and Jenn Gori (vocals, drums), both formerly of Minneapolis garage rock bands. $500 are an indie rock trio from upstate NY. Composed of guitarist Ian Donohue, bassist/vocalist Kaitlyn Flanagan, and drummer Lilly Griffin, the trio released their debut record, Twelve Eyes, back in the Fall of 2025. They’ve got a cool feature up on @uglyhug_ today, check it out! Exploding Zones is an experimental space rock trio from Providence, Rhode Island. Featuring Mike Duffy (guitar/vocals), Christopher Kelley (bass), and Eric Smith (drums), the band fuses heavy, psychedelic atmospheres with the raw power of fuzzed-out 90s alt-rock.
