Spring is in full force at Revive The Roots & we are so happy to have @queer.hikes back at Mowry Commons this coming weekend. 🌈 Queer Hikes is a fun, safe space for the LGBTQ+ community in southern New England to explore nature & make new friends. They will be leading a hike that starts with exploring the community garden spaces, followed by a hike up the fruit path to explore the Pine Forest. 🌲 Join them at the welcome gate at 10am to explore all the wonderful ephemeral features that we love about this space. Orchard Care Workshops have started on a great foot this year! (Also, please don’t climb our trees!) 🌳 We have been learning about pruning, soil health, collecting scion wood from our trees and even climbing some of them! We wanted to UPDATE everyone that this weekend's Hardwood Grafting Workshop has been moved to NEXT weekend. 🍎 The trees are still too rubbery for hardwood grafts to stay in place, due to the legendary snowstorm, but an extra week to harden should do the trick!
