To my eyes, this is one of the most aesthetically pleasing videos that I’ve made. Of course, Holy Island (aka Lindisfarne) and @sisterraydavies are the stars of the video, but credit due also to @jonesthemac for his incredible album artwork for their forthcoming album on @soniccathedral which inspired me to heavily saturate the blues. Stuart also suggested some mirroring, which worked a treat. Some of you know that I have my reservations about mirroring, but it works well in moderation with the right subject. I’ve always been a fan of old postcards where the blue skies are over-saturated; something else that I have tried to replicate here.
