Light The Fuse Records recently re-released Lament's 1991 "Drowning Room" EP which includes four never released tracks from the "Drowning Room" sessions. Joe Affe (guitar) from Maximum Penalty and Jon Scondotto (vox) were the mainstays throughout this band's history which ran through 1995 and we caught up with them to get the scoop and get some band history as well. Come check out our "NYHC WEEKENDER" coverage from the weekend of April 24th-26th in NYC where we checked out 16 bands over 3 days starting at the Bridge And Tunnel Brewery in Queens with Trouble Bound, A Breed Apart, The Ice Cold Killers, Robots And Monsters and Dead Blow Hammer... Hardcore G.A.S. (Gear and Style) returns to In Effect with a new installment with Crumbsucker great Chuck Lenihan who has a lot of other things going on as well. Who doesn't love the "Life Of Dreams" album that changed the landscape of hardcore/metal in 1986? If you are new to Hardcore G.A.S. this is "guitar magazine style interviews... but for hardcore musicians".
