One of the most legendary bands that have come out of LA, let alone the international scene? One of the most recognizable names in hardcore? One of the most hardest hitting breakdowns you’ve ever heard?
The answer is yes, and if you haven’t gotten it by now, the band is
@terrorhardcore .
Forming in 2002, it feels like the band immediately became a mainstay in hardcore. It’s almost as if the band knew right from inception that they were going to carry a legacy of LA hardcore punk, just like their predecessors before them — Circle Jerks, Black Flag, The Germs.
Going strong for now 24 years, Terror shows no sign of stopping any time soon. With just releasing their new album, “Still Suffer” off of
@flatspotrecords , the band shows that they’re still staying true to what Terror was and is and honestly embody what it means to stay close to the people and community that have supported you along the way.
And with that, I had the absolute honor sitting down with
@foreverlawless and
@chrislink from the band, with the both of them programming an hour’s worth of music that influenced them from the years in the scene and some new tracks that are making waves in music right now.
Lock it in with me and Martín and Chris from Terror for an hour on
@nts_radio , playing some of the hardest hardcore and maybe collectively pledging our love for Maine.
